uller madcat and hunchback iic by flyingdebris uller madcat and hunchback iic by flyingdebris
another earlier deviant art piece that I touched up for the 25th anniversary battletech book, under catalyst game labs. Uller/kitfox madcat/timberwolf and hunchback iic, tearing shit up.

It's style is much like the one of 'Falcon Guard' cover, which is my all time favorite.

Eh... the Kit fox is outclassed by the Adder on the simple but major point of the Adder having near-full armor while the Fox does not.

Awesome piece. Not only technically and creatively awesome, but it's old school FASA style - love it.

Man, I love how you made the laser from the madcat look like a real laser going through smoke! Very cool detail!

I think I like the old image better, it seems more focused, and less noisy / chaotic, reads better too.

I requested the original version a long, long time ago(THIS DOES NOT MEAN REQUEST MR. IGLESIAS!), and when I saw this in the 25th anniversary book I was absolutely astounded. As jaw-dropping as the original was, this is even better.

oh man, this whole series is amazing. The last time i picked up a battletech game book was over 20 years ago, but i have a strong urge to see where the game is at now. Also reminded me that the grey death legion books were some of the greatest of my childhood. I wonder if they are still in print.
