Ah, the Akuma. The Draconis Combine ditched the XL engine of the Atlas, but then decided to load the thing up with massive amounts of ammo and not give it CASE. Apparently, the samurai like their mechs to be self-disposing. Also, they saddled the thing with MRMs despite those things putting the "miss" in "missile."
